Regeneration from Nature Deficit Disorder
Shinrin-Yoku (forest therapy) was developed in the 80’s in Japan where nature deficit disorder had been on the rise, just like most other developed countries. Exposure to the life force of trees and plants helps improve memory, cognitive abilities, task initiation, as well as other benefits.
Join Lindsey for a discussion around nature deficit disorder, the sentient forest, and regeneration of both the forest and yourself. If you believe trees and plants to be sentient, your life will be much more interesting.
